Some of the world's most visited attractions are that way for a very good reason. Standing beneath the ceiling of the Sagrada Família in Barcelona, looking out across Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower, or wandering the halls of the National Gallery in Rome, these are experiences that live up to the expectation every time. The crowds exist because the places are absolutely worth visiting.
What2Book exists for the people who already know where they want to go. We don't tell you which attractions deserve your time, we assume you've already made that call. What we do is make sure that when you get there, you can actually get in.
Our mission is straightforward: to give you the clearest, most practical, and most up-to-date information on what needs to be booked in advance, how far ahead to book it, and exactly how to do it. Because there are few travel frustrations quite like arriving at something you've planned and looked forward to, only to find that tickets sold out weeks ago.
Whether you're planning weeks ahead or pulling together a trip at short notice, What2Book is here to take the guesswork out of one of travel's most important (and overlooked) questions: not just what to see, but what to book.
What2Book was founded in August 2025 by Raphael Tingley after a trip to Lisbon turned into a scavenger hunt for booking advice—one that led through half-buried Reddit threads, outdated TripAdvisor posts, and conflicting tips from strangers on the internet. The frustration? No clear answer on how far in advance to snag tickets for the most sought-after attractions (and a snippy girlfriend). The solution? Build a site that cuts through the noise and makes planning simple, accurate, and stress-free.
Raphael lives in Denver, Colorado, and enjoys rooting for the San Francisco Giants, doing crosswords in cafes, and of course, planning his next big trip.
